Morning Duomo di Napoli, then a walk along Spaccanapoli with a stop at Cappella Sansevero.
Afternoon San Gregorio Armeno and a tour of the underground (Napoli Sotterranea).
Evening A walk through the lanes and a pastry (sfogliatella or babà).
Day 2: Museums and the seafront
Morning Museo Archeologico Nazionale.
Midday A walk along Via Toledo with a stop at Galleria Umberto I.
Afternoon Piazza del Plebiscito and Palazzo Reale, then on to Santa Lucia.
Sunset Castel dell'Ovo and a walk along the Lungomare.
Day 3: Day trip or Vomero
Option A Pompeii or Herculaneum by Circumvesuviana.
Option B Take a funicular up to the Vomero hill, home of Castel Sant'Elmo and the Certosa di San Martino.
